Suzanne – March 2019

This Month, I had the opportunity to ask Suzanne Pool, founder of Bee You to answer a couple of questions for March Woman of the Month. Suzanne is a Women’s Sexual Empowerment Coach – her main goal is to show her clients, of all ages, that is possible to grab life by the horns and start living a more pleasurable life! Lucy met Suzanne at The Best You Expo in February, where they instantly clicked and shared the same views on Woman Empowerment.

After seeing Suzanne’s success, Lucy nominated her to be the Woman of the Month for March 2019!

Q: Previously a Lawyer, when did you make the change to become a coach?

A: Hi Lucy – I first trained as a coach in 2011, after years of participating in personal development and benefitting from coaching myself.  However, I finally jumped headlong into coaching full time at the beginning of 2018.

Q: Why did you chose such a specific area?

A:  My coaching programme is totally based in my own experience; I was celibate and dry for 7 years in my 30s.  It was not my choice, it just kind of happened by accident. I broke this pattern in my life after a few drinks (!) and when I realised that who was preventing me being in a relationship and having fun was me, and my thinking about myself.  I changed my thinking about myself, I came to love myself and realise I was enough the way I was. That moment changed my life and I want to provide that for the legions of women in the world who live with the pain of they’re not enough too.  So sexual empowerment has been my calling!

Q: How did you become a coach? What training did you undertake?

A: I trained in 2011 with an organisation that specialises in the spiritual aspects of transformation and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming); after I had worked with them for my own path from 2008.  I am certified as a Master Practitioner of NLP, hypnotherapy, and Time Line Therapy and as a Master Coach of NLP. I am also certified in Master spiritual practices as well. I have also undertaken many trainings in listening, which I find to be the most important skill in being a coach.

Q: Tell us about the coaching services you offer and where can we find more information?

A:  My programme is a 100 day transformational odyssey, designed to liberate women from the binds that they did not create; it’s designed to empower them to express themselves fully, have more fun and well… have big screaming orgasms if they want to!  You can find out more about my programme and about me through instagram @suzanne_pool and on my website www.bee-you.com

Q: What has been the best piece of advice that was given to you and who was it from?

A:  Bloody well go for it!  Ironically it was from my Mum.  I say ironically, because she and I always had a tricky relationship while I was growing up.  But she was a big supporter of having a go and living life to the full. For that, I will always be grateful.

Q: And lastly, what advice would you give an aspiring coach?

A: Have a go, and practice asking to be paid.  Coaching is one of those things that people don’t really understand or think they need.   It’s also a service that people love to consume for free. Coaches are valuable and deserve to be recognised for what they provide, so never be afraid to ask for what you know you’re worth… because as L’Oreal taught us – You’re worth it!
